I am a huge fan of lattes, but I don’t have the money to afford a fancy milk frother. Anyone else have this problem?
Well I have a solution!
Here is Emily’s way to froth milk at home:
While your splendidly delicious tea is steeping, begin to heat up milk on your stove in a little pot. While the milk is heating up simply whisk the milk! Make sure you whisk the crap out of it to get the best froth! So long as you are heating the milk while you whisk it, the froth will stay! Be sure not to over heat your milk if using 2% because the milk solids will form a skin from the water evaporating.
Pretty cool huh?
Just remember, the perfect latte is half milk half tea, so double the strength of your tea so that you get the full flavour!
(Have only attempted with 2% milk at home, let me know if you’ve tried other kinds of milk!)
